As an employee

• A wider base of support when job seeking; asking for a promotion or pay rise; and dealing with bullying, discrimination, or harassment

However, the bill has the potential to:

• Lock in low minimum pay guarantees and other contractual terms that companies may use to justify low pay and benefits

• Keep short-term contractors stuck in contract renewal cycles
